Cargo Shorts

3 October 2025 --- Ralph     THESE ARE 100% WOOL DENIM CARGO SHORTS.   Not cotton!  No cotton at all (people keep thinking cotton must be involved somehow, but it is not!)! WeatherWool is the World's Leading (and only) source for 100% Wool Denim. Charcoal Cargo Shorts are on hand and shipping now. We'll make these Shorts in other Denim colors eventually, but not sure when.   If you definitely want another color, please do NOTIFY or please place a SHIP ASAP order.      These Shorts are brand new for us.   So ... a little bit of excitement for sure!   First Shorts we have ever made!  But we've shipped many pieces in our Denim, since April or May of 2024, and the Fabric has been extremely well-received.   This is, of course, WeatherWool Certified Fine Wool. The Denim Shorts are USD $495 up to waist size 42 inches (107 cm).  Sizes 44-50 are $525, but this first run was made only up to size 46.   To convert inches to centimeters, please multiply by 2.54. The Shorts have a relaxed fit, which seems to be the way things are done now.  The size 32 measures 33.5 inches Inseam is 13.5-inches (34 cm) If you want a more fitted look, size down Two handwarmer pockets in front Two drop pockets in rear Two Cargo Pockets in front.  These pockets are secured by a flap, which in turn is secured by a Slot Button near each corner.  The Cargo Pockets are very large, with bellows   We'll get better photos ASAP. People have asked me why the Cargo Shorts are nearly as expensive as the Denim Jeans.  The thinking is that the Shorts consume significantly less Fabric.  Actually, the Shorts do not use much less Fabric than the Jeans, because of the Cargo Pockets.  But mainly, the Cargo Shorts, because of the Cargo Pockets, are actually more expensive for us to make.  Our Jeans and Cargo Shorts are made by Factory8 in New York City's Garment District ... the home of the most-talented and most-expensive sewing professionals in the USA.     Details about WeatherWool Construction
