'Ice Dance' is a showy variety of Carex with deep green, grassy foliage edged in bright white stripes. Commonly called Sedge, Carex 'Ice Dance' is a vigorous perennial that spreads by rhizomes into a lush groundcover. Carex 'Ice Dance' Sedge is evergreen, deer-resistant, and drought-tolerant, making it a reliable groundcover for partial to full shade. Trim any dead or ugly leaves in spring to refresh the foliage. 'Ice Dance' is an improved version of Carex morrowii 'Variegata' with a more vigorous habit and brighter variegation.
