Cardinal Sconce

The Workstead Cardinal Sconce is an elegant example of modern industrial lighting, blending timeless design with functional beauty. Its softened cone-like shades are crafted from hand-blown glass, finished in contrasting white enamel and sandblasted textures. These unique materials are bound together by a custom metal collar, creating a refined look. As a result, the Workstead Cardinal Sconce casts a warm, buoyant glow, bringing both light and style to any space. Furthermore, its design evokes the essence of floating objects, reminiscent of buoys, making it an ideal addition to contemporary interiors. Beyond being just a light source, the Workstead Cardinal Sconce makes a bold design statement. The combination of hand-blown glass shades in contrasting finishes not only enhances the lighting but also creates an inviting atmosphere. Whether placed in a living room or entryway, this fixture works beautifully in any setting, casting a soft, ambient light that transforms the space. Additionally, by combining a modern aesthetic with the historic typology of objects afloat, the Workstead Cardinal Sconce brings a sense of weightlessness to the wall, offering both beauty and functionality. Since its founding in 2009, Workstead has established itself as a leader in modern industrial lighting. Known for its minimalist design approach and exceptional craftsmanship, Workstead creates lighting fixtures that seamlessly integrate into both residential and commercial spaces. The Workstead Cardinal Sconce is just one example of the brand’s dedication to blending utility with artistic expression. As such, each piece is thoughtfully designed to serve as both a functional lighting solution and a work of art, making Workstead lighting an ideal choice for those seeking sophisticated, modern illumination.
