Carbon Offroad Mega Pro Winch Hook

The Carbon Offroad Mega Pro Hook is engineered, forged, and tested to outperform traditional rigging parts. Using 40Cr steel, known for its exceptional strength-to-weight properties, the hook is forged, heat-treated, and finished with a durable UV-resistant powder coat for long-term corrosion protection. A cast-alloy gate provides lightweight durability, and press-fit rubber pads allow customizable logo orientation and protection against surface damage. Compatible with winches rated up to 20,000 lb, the Mega Pro Hook mounts via a full through-pin and circlip for simple installation. Strength & Construction The Mega Pro Hook’s I-beam body design is unique to Carbon Offroad. This structure maximizes strength while minimizing weight, removing excess material where it’s not needed while reinforcing critical load zones. Forged and heat-treated from 40Cr steel, the hook delivers near-indestructible performance. The UV-stable powder coating—the same process used on architectural aluminum—provides long-term resistance to sunlight and environmental wear. Each hook undergoes design validation through finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure it can handle extreme load cycles with confidence. What It Does This hook replaces generic lifting hooks with a recovery-specific design optimized for winch operations. It can be stowed flat or upright against the fairlead, allowing instant attachment to a soft shackle or tree protector strap when needed. The wide opening and ergonomic profile make single-handed operation easy, even with gloves on. Use It For Attaching to soft shackles and tree protectors Stowing flat or upright against the fairlead for quick connection Handling recoveries up to 20,000 lb line pull Adding lightweight strength and style to any winch setup Fitment & Care Notes The Mega Pro Hook suits winches rated up to 20,000 lb. Mounting is easy thanks to the through-pin design with external circlip, which secures the hook directly to your synthetic rope eye. The rubber pads are press-fit and repositionable — you can orient the logos to suit your setup and fix them permanently with rubber cement if desired. Design & Development Designed, engineered, and tested entirely by the Carbon Offroad team, the Mega Pro Hook represents a true clean-sheet design approach. Every stage — from 3D printing prototypes to final FEA validation — focused on producing a dedicated off-road recovery hook that’s both functional and affordable. This commitment ensures reliable, high-quality gear that performs when it matters most.
