Earthbound® Grounding Car Seat Mat

A calmer, static-free drive Sealed inside a moving car, you're insulated from the ground by four rubber tires — and static charge quietly builds on your body the entire drive. It's the zap when you reach for the door, the lift in your hair, the restless edge on a long stretch of highway. The car is one of the most static-charged places you sit, and one of the last most people ever think to address. The Earthbound® Grounding Car Seat Mat gives that charge somewhere to go. This is how the Earthbound car seat mat works: Lays flat over your seat with a durable conductive surface, built for daily in-and-out use. Connects to your vehicle's own metal frame through the included Auto Coil Cord. As you drive, static charge on your body equalizes continuously through that connection — instead of releasing all at once in a shock. Nothing electrical runs through the mat: no power, no heat, no batteries, nothing to maintain. Why static builds in your car The combination of synthetic seats, dry cabin air, and rubber tires turns a moving vehicle into a static generator — and with nowhere to discharge, that charge collects on you. You feel it as the shock at the door handle, clingy clothing, and staticky hair. On long drives, some people notice a restless, on-edge feeling that static contributes to. Touching bare metal discharges it all at once — the mat lets it equalize gradually instead. The result is simply a calmer, more comfortable ride. For the hours on the road Between the commute, the errands, and the road trips, the car is where a real share of your day happens — and it's the one seat that leaves you charged with static and slightly on edge. The car seat mat keeps you continuously connected to the vehicle's frame, draining that buildup so you step out of the car feeling steadier than you stepped in. It rounds out your day: grounded to the Earth at home on your Earthbound pad and mats, and settled in the car with the seat mat — comfortable, static-free, from your desk to your driveway.
