Capricornus

Mr. Savethewall - Astro Kiss Me - Capricornus The artwork by Mr. Savethewall, Astro Kiss Me - Capricornus, is a limited edition screenprint on paper, with 100 copies featuring metallic inserts. Capricorns (December 22 - January 19) are determined, practical people who are focused on their goals, with a great ability to work hard to achieve success thanks to their patience and persevering nature. However, they can sometimes seem distant or too serious, as they tend to prioritize duty over pleasure. I only discovered at 52 what kind of "being" a Capricorn really is. In this image, I had to combine a fish and a goat, and to do so, I decided to play with an admiral (with the necessary horns), half-fish, leaning on the rocks of Capri. Almost like a riddle. - Mr. Savethewall Created in 2024, the screenprint measures 25x25 cm. The Astro Kiss Me Series The Astro Kiss Me series, composed of 12 artworks, is a tribute to the millennia-old influence of the stars on our lives. Each zodiac sign is represented with a screenprint that reflects not only the traditional characteristics linked to the elements (fire, earth, air, water) but also a modern and ironic interpretation that highlights the duality and nuances of astrological symbols. Each print is produced in a limited edition of 100 copies, personally numbered and signed by the artist, making each piece a treasure for collectors and art enthusiasts. In his interpretation, Mr. Savethewall plays with vibrant colors and stylized shapes to create works that capture the essence of each sign. His screenprints, midway between pop and abstract art, invite the viewer to reflect on the symbolism behind each constellation, offering a visual journey that blends astrology and art in a narrative that speaks to both the heart and the mind. The entire project becomes an opportunity to explore how the zodiac signs not only define personal traits but are also powerful visual symbols that span culture and history, reinterpreted in a modern and provocative way.
