Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS 10 Cup Coffee Maker

New Innovative Design You will be pleasantly surprised with the new Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS (464.05). Capresso has kept intact the legendary brewing system that brews at up to 200 degrees and has enhanced the CoffeeTEAM GS with a number of key features. First and foremost, the old swing-arm style basket has been replaced by a self-sealing ground coffee chute. This new design maintains the protection of the grinder to prevent steam from entering the chamber and clogging it. A lot of work went into engineering this feature, and yet Capresso still found a way to lower the cost of the CoffeeTEAM GS. Overhead space requirements have also been reduced with the new pull-out door for ground coffee that simplifies not only cleaning, but also brewing with pre-ground coffee. The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS grind and brew coffee maker also boasts an easy-read digital screen with user friendly controls. Conical Burr Grinder The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS 10 cup coffee maker still sports the ever popular conical burr grinder that has made them famous. The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS has the same grinder that is found in the Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder and all Jura-Capresso Impressa Automatic Coffee Centers. This grinder, precision-made in Switzerland, turns slowly to prevent the beans from heating up and losing flavor. Four fineness settings allow for an ideal grind size for light, medium, or dark beans (the lighter the bean, the finer the setting). Simply slide the filter assembly underneath the grinder, turn on the brew cycle (or set the Auto On), and the CoffeeTEAM GS does the rest of the work for you. Fully Programmable Coffee Grinding and Brewing The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS allows you to program the amount of coffee you want to grind: choose from 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups and select mild, regular or strong. It also offers you the choice to brew from pre-ground coffee if you need a quick decaf or flavored coffee and do not want to change your beans. An AM/PM Programmable Clock/Timer lets you set the time when to grind and brew automatically. The "Stop-And-Serve" function allows you to enjoy a cup of coffee before brewing is completely finished, and the 2 Hour Safety Shut-Off will keep the coffee hot for two hours after brewing. Then the heating element will shut off by itself conserving energy and giving you peace of mind. Fresh Flavorful Coffee Coffee experts agree on at least one aspect of making coffee - fresh ground coffee makes for the best possible beverage. Those wonderful smells floating around local coffee shops are made of the aromas released when coffee beans are ground. Aroma is the key ingredient to the flavor of any style of coffee. Once coffee beans have been ground, aroma continues to escape, so the Capresso CoffeeTeam GS offers a hassle-free integrated conical burr grinder preserve as much flavor as possible. Water Filtration Chlorine makes water taste different, so it also affects the taste of coffee. The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS includes a replaceable charcoal water filter that removes most of the chlorine and other unwanted tastes from your tap water. The CoffeeTEAM GS will remind you when to replace your filter, and we offer a 3-pack, so you will always have one handy. The Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS offers premium coffee filtration as well with the dishwasher-safe GoldTone filter which eliminates all of those wasted paper filters.
