Cape May Crud Survivor Challenge Coin

Not everyone understands the Cape May Crud… but if you’ve been there, you definitely remember it. The Cape May Crud Challenge Coin was built for those who survived the coughing fits, the lost voices, cough drops, and the unforgettable weeks at TRACEN Cape May. Part badge of honor, part inside joke, this coin represents the shared experience that every Coastie recruit, instructor, and prior service member knows all too well. Whether you earned it during boot camp, picked it up after a rough winter on base, or just want a reminder of where the journey started, this coin symbolizes resilience, misery, pride, and the stories that come with surviving Cape May. Because once you’ve had the Crud… you’ve officially joined the club. Semper Paratus.
