Cape Cod Overshirt 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

The Perfect Lightweight Casual Jacket for your 18” Doll! All 18” dolls such as American Girl have room in the closet for all playtime occasions!  This little jacket can be made with multiple fabrics to cover all seasons. This versatile design, by Just 4 Us Dolls, is actually quite simple to make and the use of top-stitching results in a beautifully finished garment.  Beginning sewing enthusiasts are often challenged by buttonholes (as I once was!) but I would urge you to practice on some leftover fabric and give them a try.  You will love the results!  However, snaps can be easily substituted for buttonholes and you will still have great looking jacket.  You will enjoy creating this very stylish overshirt for your 18” doll’s wardrobe.
