Cap Screw

Although Cap Screws were originally designed for screwing the backs on cabinets and other fine work where a washer head and small shank was required in a smaller, strong screw, the exterior coating makes the Cap Screw perfect for a myriad of additional uses. Because of the washer head and the exterior coating the Cap Screw is perfect for fence construction when pickets need to stay put. The Cap Screw will hold the picket long term and not split the wood even during lath and lattice installation. Cap screws are great for shear panel installation. Wood and vinyl shakes and other exterior applications, where nail failure might be a concern, are perfect uses. The "one hand insertion" feature of all the U2 fasteners because of the tight star recess is a real time saver and especially convenient while doing ladder work. FEATURES:   Dome Head with rim and Cutting Ribbon underhead. Tapper Point which consists of the Cork Screw Start and Blade Cutting Thread for easy piercing and alleviating strain on the material. Tight Star Recess system grasps the U-Bit tightly and can be installed with one hand.
