Blazing Fast Print Speeds - 3.3 D-Size Prints Per Minute The Canon TX-4200 is a 44-inch wide printer capable of printing up to 3.3 D-sized sheets per minute in Fast Q5 mode - approximately 34% faster than previous models. This lightning-fast output rivals toner-based plotters at a fraction of the cost, with the ability to produce up to 199 D-size prints per hour. Revolutionary LUCIA TD 5-Color Pigment Ink System The TX-4200 features the advanced LUCIA TD pigment ink set with newly developed magenta ink, delivering outstanding red color reproduction and enhanced line clarity. This innovative ink formulation produces razor-sharp text and fine lines on both inkjet and non-inkjet paper. When combined with water-resistant media, your printed drawings can withstand the harsh outdoor conditions of construction sites. Intelligent Media Handling Once media is loaded, the TX-4200 automatically finds the leading edge, feeds the media, and determines the media type, length, and width - all displayed on the intuitive interface screen. This intelligent system significantly reduces setup time and minimizes errors. Optional Multifunction Roll System The optional Multifunction Roll System (RU-42) offers unparalleled versatility, functioning as either a second roll holder for quick media switching or as a bi-directional take-up reel for continuous production printing. Perfect for high-volume environments requiring maximum flexibility. Advanced Security Features Protect your confidential information with enterprise-grade security features including PIN printing, self-encrypting 500GB hard drive, and the ability to disable USB ports, ethernet ports, and USB direct thumb drives. Your sensitive AEC documents and client data remain secure. Environmentally Conscious Design The TX-4200 is both EPEAT® Gold and ENERGY STAR® certified - a first for the imagePROGRAF TX Series.
