Can Sumoi is Pepe Raventós's high altitude natural wine project. The certified organic estate sits 600+ meters up the Serra de l’Home mountain range in northeast Penedès. These wines are nothing but stellar. All handpicked fruit. "The 2022 Garnatxa Sumoll is sourced from Montmell in Penedès. Only 29% of the wine underwent barrel aging for nine months. This reductive red features undergrowth and blood orange aromas, along with hints of dried flowers and herbs. Dry and fairly rich on the palate, it has a glycerol mouthfeel that wraps up the tannins.
