CAN Scania engine 4 pin, diagnostics cable

Jaltest JDC532A - CAN Scania Engine 4-Pin Diagnostics Cable The Jaltest JDC532A is a genuine Cojali 4-pin CAN diagnostic cable for Scania engines. This cable covers newer Scania engines equipped with a 4-pin CAN bus diagnostic connector — the modern standard that replaced the RS232 serial connection used on older Scania units (covered by the JDC531.9). If your shop services Scania trucks, buses, or industrial equipment built after the mid-2000s transition to CAN-based diagnostics, the JDC532A is the cable your Jaltest system needs to connect to those engines. What This Cable Does The JDC532A establishes a CAN bus diagnostic connection between the Jaltest Link and the Scania engine ECU. The 4-pin CAN connector provides faster, more stable communication than older RS232 serial connections, enabling broader diagnostic access across the engine's networked control systems. As a general guide: Older Scania engines (pre-mid-2000s, engine series 9, 11, 12 in earlier configurations) — RS232, requires JDC531.9 Newer Scania engines (post-transition, DC/DT/OC series with 4-pin CAN ports) — CAN bus, requires JDC532A Shops with a mixed Scania fleet — or those that regularly encounter trucks from different eras — need both cables. The JDC532A at 30 is the more commonly needed cable for current-production and recent-year Scania service work. Diagnostic Capabilities With Jaltest CV With the JDC532A connected and the Jaltest CV license active, technicians can: Read and clear fault codes across Scania engine, aftertreatment, transmission, and brake ECUs Monitor live parameter data — injection timing, rail pressure, NOx values, temperatures, sensor outputs Perform calibrations and adjustments supported by Jaltest for Scania Execute DPF regenerations and aftertreatment resets on equipped vehicles Access dealer-level functions for Scania engine management systems Technical Details SKU / Part Number: JDC532A Communication protocol: CAN bus Connector type: 4-pin Scania CAN diagnostic Cable length: 11 inches Manufacturer: Cojali (Jaltest) Compatible Software: Jaltest CV (active license required) Compatible Link Versions: V8.1 / V9 Price (2025 Pricelist): 30.00 Why Buy From OEM Diagnostic Tools?
