Campari Aperitivo

About Campari Aperitivo Perhaps the world's most well recognized red bitter aperitif, Campari Aperitivo put the Negroni on the map. But, Campari is so much more than the Negroni!  The Spritz defines summer in a bottle.  The Americano was even a favorite of James Bond in several of the earlier 007 novels and movies. Campari's beautiful deep red color and distinctive citrusy bitter taste palate make it a cocktail-making classic.   Campari takes its unique character from the herb and fruit infusion at the heart of its production process.  A secret blend of herbs and exotic fruit, including chinotto and cascarilla, infuse in alcohol to create this one-of-a-kind homebar must-have. In fact, our friend Steve the Bartender included Campari in his list of 10 Essential Bar Bottles.   Recommendations for Campari Aperitivo Anders Erickson "Campari is known for its bitterness, but there's a good amount of sweetness up front. Wonderful mixed with any spirit." How to Drink "Sweet, with heavy orange-y bitterness, and a little herbal bitterness too," according to How to Drink. Greg enjoys Campari with club soda.
