Reader comments We are using "Called to Serve" as our basis for office bearer training during our monthly Council meeting, one chapter per month.  I have used this resource in this way in all the churches that I have served ever since it first came out. The men find it easy to read, and yet very instructive for the tasks set before them as Elders and Deacons in God's Church. I would highly recommend it. —Pastor M
