California Tea Bowl 2

Art is the nutrition of the soul, and the artist prepares the food. Mary Rose finds solace and connection through her pottery, a beautiful dance with the elements. Each Tea Bowl she creates reflects her deep reverence for the natural world. 4.5" Dia x 3" Ht Clay, her medium, is more than just material. It is a living entity formed over millennia through the gentle caress of water, minerals, and microscopic life. In her hands, clay becomes a tube, echoing the slow, patient processes of the earth. She carefully selects ingredients, from valley clay to coastal beach sand, infusing her creations with the essence of diverse landscapes. She tends to the soil, nurturing it with love and mindfulness, knowing that the plants she cultivates will one day return to the earth as ash, enriching the cycle again. California Tea Bowl is her top creation that reflects her passion for art. Through this circular craft, Mary finds a deep sense of devotion, binding her soul to the earth with every graceful turn of the wheel. Each California Tea Bowl piece she creates is proof of her admiration and wonder for the natural world, a tangible expression of her connection to the land.
