Calcitic Limestone

Our 10 lbs Calcitic Limestone is a top-grade soil amendment, carefully sourced to ensure high purity and effectiveness. Calcitic limestone is primarily composed of calcium carbonate, making it an essential component for correcting acidic soil conditions and providing vital nutrients to your plants. This product is pelletized to make application easier. It can be applied with a fertilizer spreader.  Key Benefits: pH Balance: Calcitic Limestone is ideal for neutralizing acidic soils. By raising the soil pH, it helps create an optimal environment for nutrient absorption, leading to healthier plants and more productive gardens. Calcium Boost: Calcium is crucial for plant cell wall development, root growth, and overall plant structure. Adding Calcitic Limestone to your soil ensures your plants receive an ample supply of this vital nutrient. Improved Soil Structure: Regular application of Calcitic Limestone can enhance soil structure, improving water retention and aeration. This creates a more favorable environment for root systems to develop and flourish. Eco-Friendly: Our Calcitic Limestone is a natural, environmentally friendly product. It breaks down slowly in the soil, providing long-lasting benefits without the risk of over-application or nutrient leaching.
