A very aesthetic piece featuring a large cluster of highly translucent to transparent, well formed platy/lenticular Calcite crystals on a dark brown Limonite matrix. There is a slight reddish-brown tinting to the Calcite crystals, and upon closer inspection (see closeup pic), reddish Hematite inclusions can be seen. Great contrast, crystal formation and symmetry. In excellent condition. Location: Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico Size: 8 x 6.5 x 5 cm
