Cafe au Lait

Always a showstopper, the queen of decorative dahlias seems to magically change color from hot pinks and blush tones during the dog days of summer settling into peachy cream tones as the cooler days of fall take hold. In fact, you can play with the color of Cafe au Lait by shading her from direct sunlight from bud to bloom stage, to mute the colors if you find the summer sun is turning her too blush for your liking, which is one of the reasons she's such a useful flower for design and wedding work.
