Cactus Silk Pillow

Ethically crafted from natural fibers and dyes, each of these woven cactus silk pillows represents days of work and generations of skill passed from mother to daughter. Just outside of Marrakech, a remarkable group of women transform the natural fibers of desert agave into beautiful silken thread using time-honored methods. The hand-spun thread is then masterfully woven on family looms and embroidered with traditional motifs. Through their weaving, these women are redefining traditional gender roles and finding financial independence. In additional to the great story behind these pieces, they make a fabulous addition to your home decor, adorning a sofa or beautifully made bed. Please note that design details will vary slightly between each item since each piece is completely handmade. 18x18”, zip closure Dry clean only Includes non-allergenic polyester fiber insert
