A scepter crystal is a rare type of crystal formation in which the main crystal formed around a pre-existing crystal rod, resulting in a unique geological geometry. The original crystal rod formed over vast periods of geological time and then, conditions changed, and became more favorable to crystal growth. Perhaps the crystal was surrounded by a solution of super-saturated silica, for instance, triggering a rapid growth spurt. Mineralogists suggest that rapid growth favors the formation of a crystal’s point rather than its faces because points are composed primarily of edges, and during rapid crystalline growth edges and points generate a higher electrical charge than the rest of the crystal, and this higher electrical charge attracts silica molecules, which then form an engorged head, knob, or point around the pre-existing crystal rod, which acts as a handle for the new crystal scepter. In any case, there is no doubt that all scepter crystals had a troubled childhood which typically involved two-stages of crystallization.  Scepter crystals are oftentimes the result of earthquake shocks, multiple freeze-thaw cycles and severe transformations in the chemical composition of the pockets within which crystals form and grow deep within the surface of the Earth. Crystal scepters were used by ancient high priests and priestesses as a mark of their spiritual station. Such scepters were traditionally used as energy transmitters and library crystals, providing spirit workers with access to Timeless Wisdom Teachings and to Spirit Guides residing in Higher Worlds. Scepter crystals are considered by 21st century Lightworkers to be powerful amplifers of energy, which can transmit as much energy as other quartz crystals many times their size. Reverse scepter crystals are narrower at the point than the shaft, and are thus considered to be marvellous tools for inward reflection, for connecting with the Higher Self, and for communicating with Spirit Guides and Teachers. In addition, healers we have talked to say that the all Scepter crystals are ideal tools for healing work in various modalities. Apply the tip to acupressure points, nadis, or chakras while doing Reiki, acupressure or other healing work, and the scepter will focus the healing energy at the desired location in a most powerful and efficacious manner. Cacoxenite is a rare hydrated iron aluminum phosphate that often occurs as an inclusion in quartz crystals. The gloden brown flecks are thought by some to detract from the purity of fine crystals, but these gemologists are undoubtedly unfamiliar with the metaphysical properties of cacoxenite. Cacoxenite is a key mineral element found in Super 7 amethyst crystals. Cacoxenite is said by crystal healers and Lightworkers to be a 'stone of ascension', and is used by many to support their spiritual practices and healing work. Cacoxenite contains both the elevated energy signature of high-frequency white light which is associated with the crown chakra and with knowledge of Higher Worlds and the earthy golden-brown energy signature associated with the perfected, cleansed and purified root chakra. Cacoxenite acivates and energizes both crown and root chakras simultaneously, providing an experience of grounded spiritual awareness that is highly conducive to the work of those who seek to be of maximum spiritual service in the world. This is the stone for those who seek to be "in the world, but not of the world", to be active in worldly affairs, working to promote the spiritual and social evolution of humanity, but not consumed by the lower emotions of worry, fear, anger, jealousy, and greed. This is the stone for meditators, crystal healers and Lightworkers who seek to remain grounded and centered while on the spiritual path, able to exercise maximum discernment while experiencing the more subtle realms of existence fully and vibrantly. This crystal has been cleaned with Universal Life Force Energy, and given an energy attunement using Reiki, a Japanese technique of energy healing, so it will continue to receive and transmit Universal Life Force Energy direct from the Source of Creation.
