Cable Patterned Irish Knit Poncho

Looking for a unique piece that blends comfort with traditional design? We bet you'll love this Cable Pattern Irish Knit Poncho, authentically produced in Ireland. Centuries ago, the locals of the Aran Islands discovered the best way to keep the cold away - specially designed knitwear! Are you wondering what makes Aran knitwear so great? We'll tell you - it incorporates these cool stitches that are both cozy (they add an extra layer of warmth and breathability to the garment) and meaningful. The cable stitches, just like the ones knit into this poncho, represent strength and unity, mirroring the ropes used by the courageous Irish fishermen who braved dangerous seas so they could provide for their families. The honeycomb? It's a beautiful tribute to the prolific beekeeping industry on the Islands, suggesting that there are always sweet rewards after a well-done job. But wait, there's more! This V-shaped Irish poncho is made of high-quality 100% pure new wool (also known as fisherman's wool). Warm, resistant to moisture, and durable, you'll have this wool poncho in your wardrobe for years and years. Plus, it's machine washable thanks to SAOL's new anti-shrink technology. Sounds great, right?
