PSA: The use of SPF in cosmetics has become a very common marketing gimmick. Here's the truth - there isn't enough sunscreen in cosmetic products to provide adequate (if any) sun protection. Relying on cosmetics for SPF protection is both misleading and detrimental to your skin. For best practice, always (365 days a year) apply a facial sunscreen first (about a quarter size amount), and then, follow with any cosmetic finishes. Of course, it does not hurt to apply additional SPF, but many consumers are misled to believe that cosmetics with SPF is a quick all-in-one product for all your skin needs, which we do not support. Will it look like I have makeup on? No. This is the #1 concern for guys. We intentionally formulated the C4 so that it's discreet (both the package and while on your face). It easily absorbs into your skin for light, subtle coverage and finishes with a natural, non-oily appearance. And bonus points: it's working deep in your skin to restore and nourish!   When should I apply the C4 in my skincare routine? In the mornings, the C4 should be applied at the end of your skincare routine. After moisturizing, apply the C4 on problem areas, and then, feel free to follow up with our Stealth Fighter Pen for any tough blemishes.   At night, make sure to properly clean your face with a cleanser. This will ensure you remove any remaining tint from your face before heading to bed.  Is it noncomedogenic? Any allergens? We avoid using labels such as “noncomedogenic” because the term has no industry standard or regulation. If you ever come across this label (in the USA), know that it really doesn’t mean much. However, we want to stress that the C4 is formulated with the highest quality ingredients. We avoid controversial things like parabens, phthalates, BHT, and many common irritants. We always recommend that you first apply a small amount onto your arms/hands to patch test for a negative reaction. We recommend you first talk to your doctor or dermatologist if you have any specific concerns, whether it be for your skin health or mental health. Can this be used as a bronzer? Even though C4 is not developed specifically as a bronzer, our Tan shade does provide a sun-tanned appearance without any extra glow or glitz.  Whether you want something extra subtle or maybe a more highlighted look, simply apply until your desired coverage.
