C300 Piranha Solid Bowling Ball

Columbia 300 brings back a legend with the Piranha Solid, a modern take on the vibrant orange ball that once dominated lanes across the country. Rooted in the heritage of the original Piranha line, this release blends classic control with updated technology to meet the demands of today’s conditions. At the heart of the Piranha Solid is a refined version of the iconic Piranha core. By adjusting the core density and removing the original PowerCOR nugget, Columbia 300 raised the RG and lowered the differential, creating a motion focused on consistency, stability, and control. The result is a predictable early roll that reads the lane smoothly and stays on line without overreacting at the breakpoint. Encasing the core is the proven HyperFlex Solid coverstock, a non-HK22 formulation that found success in recent releases and delivers dependable traction where it matters most. Paired with a 1500 Siaair finish, the Piranha Solid digs into medium-to-heavier oil with confidence, producing a smooth yet assertive motion that blends the lane and keeps your carry strong. The Piranha Solid is built for bowlers who value control when conditions get challenging. It’s strong enough to handle volume but disciplined enough to maintain energy and continuation through the pins. On fresh patterns or medium-heavy house shots, this is the type of ball you can trust to start with and build around. And the bold orange shell says it all — the Piranha is back, and it’s ready to dominate once more.   Why You’ll Want It Predictable early roll with smooth, controlled motion HyperFlex Solid cover for reliable traction 1500 Siaair finish for medium-to-heavier oil Consistent reaction that blends wet and dry A modern evolution of a legendary Columbia 300 design
