KOHLER C1 Indoor Sauna

KOHLER® C1 Indoor Sauna The KOHLER C1 Indoor Sauna is the first sauna engineered from the ground up by Kohler — a fully integrated 2-, 3-, or 5-person sauna cabin designed to install seamlessly into a primary bath, home gym, finished basement, or dedicated wellness room. Thick insulated walls, tempered glass paneling, dual-thermostatic control, and Aerotherm ventilation combine to deliver consistent, premium sauna heat session after session — all wrapped in the kind of architectural design language KOHLER is known for. The Bold Look of KOHLER® Wellness For more than 150 years, the KOHLER name has defined gracious living and bold design across kitchens and baths. The new KOHLER® Wellness collection brings that same commitment to materials, craftsmanship, and engineered performance to a category that's long overdue for a refresh: the home sauna. Every KOHLER sauna is handcrafted from premium woods, sealed with a fully integrated vapor barrier, insulated with thick mineral wool, and engineered to deliver consistent heat session after session — backed by Kohler's 5-year warranty and supported by an authorized dealer network trained directly by Kohler. Three Sizes. Two Exterior Finishes. Optional Built-In Floor. The KOHLER C1 ships in three cabin sizes — Small (2-person), Medium (3-person), and Large (5-person) — in your choice of Scandinavian Spruce (warm, natural Nordic wood) or Graphite Grey (sleek modern matte-black exterior). The cabin interior is finished in clear Scandinavian Spruce in every configuration. Choose the with-floor option for a turn-key installation on any flat surface, or the no-floor option to set the cabin directly onto an existing tile or finished subfloor for a flush, built-in look. Premium hardwood selection, precision-milled tongue-and-groove paneling, and meticulous joinery work together to deliver a sauna that holds its shape, holds its heat, and holds up to daily use — backed by Kohler's industry-leading 5-year warranty. Engineered Performance You Can Feel Designed from the inside out, every KOHLER sauna features robust wall construction, high-quality mineral-wool insulation, and an integrated vapor barrier that work together to retain heat efficiently and evenly. This thoughtful construction keeps the exterior surface comfortable to the touch even when the cabin is fully heated — supporting safer, more confident use around children and pets. Aerotherm Ventilation & Dual-Thermostatic Control Integrated Aerotherm venting draws fresh air through the cabin continuously, keeping the climate consistent from bench to ceiling. Dual-thermostatic control optimizes the cabin temperature against the heater output, while UL certification ensures safe, reliable operation session after session. Versatile By Design KOHLER sauna cabins are available in three sizes and curated exterior finishes so the cabin fits the room, not the other way around. Modern aesthetics and thoughtfully chosen materials let the sauna integrate seamlessly into a primary bath, basement wellness room, or backyard retreat. With-floor configurations (1FNC) ship as a self-contained cabin that you can drop onto any flat surface. The cabin floor is integrated into the sauna assembly — ideal when installing over carpet, hardwood, unfinished concrete, or any surface you don't want exposed to the sauna's foot traffic. The integrated floor matches the cabin's aesthetic and is engineered to handle the sauna's thermal cycling. No-floor configurations (0FNC) set the cabin directly onto your existing finished floor — tile, polished concrete, engineered hardwood, porcelain, etc. This produces a flush, fully built-in appearance and keeps the overall stepped-in height as low as possible. Recommended when the sauna will sit in a primary bath or finished wellness room where matching the existing flooring is part of the design. Want the no-floor look but don't have a finished surface to set on? Add the matching C1 Indoor Sauna Floor Kit in your cabin size — it's the same material as a with-floor configuration, sold separately. Installation Requirements Every KOHLER C1 Indoor Sauna requires a dedicated 240V / 30A circuit wired to the cabin location by a licensed electrician. Ceiling clearance must be at least 91" to accommodate the cabin's 87" outside height plus venting allowance. No plumbing connection is required. The cabin ships in flat-packed sections; assembly is best handled by two skilled installers and typically completes in a single day. Finnish Sauna Builders coordinates white-glove installation directly with your preferred timeline — ask your dealer for a turnkey install quote. Wood Finish Detail Scandinavian Spruce (SPS) — tight-grained, knot-free Nordic spruce with a clear natural finish. The wood's low resin content keeps surface temperatures comfortable to the touch even at peak heat, and the light blonde tone brightens the cabin interior. Graphite Grey Spruce (CGS) — the same premium Scandinavian spruce finished in a matte graphite exterior. Modern, architectural, and a perfect fit for contemporary primary baths and finished basements. The cabin interior remains natural Scandinavian Spruce. Wellness That Adds Value Sauna bathing has been linked in peer-reviewed research to better cardiovascular health, faster muscle recovery, improved sleep, and reduced stress. Beyond the personal health benefits, wellness-focused residential spaces have been shown to command 10–25% price premiums and 4–8% rental premiums — making a built-in KOHLER sauna an investment in both daily quality of life and long-term property value.
