Byredo Mojave Ghost EDP

What it is: Mojave Ghost is a woody fragrance that captures the haunting elegance of the Mojave Desert. In this arid wilderness, few plants dare to bloom, yet their resilience inspires this delicate yet enduring scent. The composition opens with the musky allure of Ambrette paired with the bright freshness of Jamaican Nesberry. Soft, powdery Violet unfolds at the heart, leading to the creamy richness of Sandalwood. Finally, a warm base of Chantilly Musk, crisp Amber, and Cedarwood lingers, evoking the raw and timeless spirit of the desert. Fragrance story: Amid the xeric expanse of the Mojave Desert, ancient trees and vegetation endure, defying the harsh conditions that challenge human fragility. Among them, the ghost flower, Mohavea confertiflora, emerges as a rare marvel. Flourishing against the arid terrain, this flower, unable to produce nectar, retains an unyielding beauty season after season. Through a remarkable strategy of mimicry, it imitates the markings of a female bee from a neighboring species, deceiving male bees into pollinating it. This ingenious adaptation and its poignant story of survival inspire Mojave Ghost, a tribute to the ghost flower’s mystique and resilience. Style: Floral, Woody, Powdery.
