Bye Bye 盲腸 Patch

Bye Bye 盲腸 - 2012  I had acute appendicitis: 盲腸, mōchō, twice during high school. The first time, I managed it with medication, but a month later, it came back, and I had to have surgery. I’ll never forget the struggle of a week-long fasting before the operation, or how blissfully it felt when the IV flowed through my body during that time. An iron-on patch from Have a Good Day - an emblem diary that portrays daily life events of the graphic designer Ren Yamakawa. "In our lives, countless things happen every day. It's easy to forget about them without noticing in our busy days. And if we forget about them, trivial dramatic events will disappear from this world, like a bubble popping. So I decided to turn events of my life into emblems." Size: 2.6" x 2.8" / 65 x 72 mm approx.
