BW30 PRO-2540

FilmTec™ BW30 PRO-2540 Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Membrane – 2.5" x 40" | 1,000 GPD Engineered for superior performance in light industrial, commercial, and drinking water systems, the DuPont FilmTec™ BW30 PRO-2540 is the upgraded industry-standard RO membrane element that delivers exceptional water purity even under challenging feed water conditions. Built on decades of proven FilmTec™ BW30 technology, this next-generation element offers higher flow rates, improved salt rejection, and enhanced fouling resistance compared to previous generations. Whether you're producing high-quality permeate for bottling, food & beverage processing, pharmaceutical applications, or municipal drinking water, the BW30 PRO-2540 provides reliable, stable, long-term performance you can trust. Key Benefits: High Rejection & Flow — Produces up to 1,000 gallons per day (3.8 m³/d) with a stabilized salt rejection of 99.7% (minimum 99.5%) under standard test conditions. Enhanced Fouling Protection — Designed to handle harsh feed waters with higher silt density, reducing cleaning frequency and extending membrane life. Durable Fiberglass Outer Wrap — Hard-shell exterior provides extra structural strength for demanding commercial and light industrial systems. Dry Shipping — Ships dry for extended shelf life, quick stabilization upon startup, and easier handling/storage. Wide Operating Range — Robust polyamide thin-film composite membrane tolerates pH 2–11 (continuous) and pH 1–13 for short-term cleaning. Maximum operating pressure: 600 psi. Maximum temperature: 113°F (45°C). Fits Standard 2.5" Pressure Vessels — Perfect for compact systems producing less than 1 GPM. Ideal For: Light industrial RO systems Commercial drinking water production Food & beverage processing Water reuse and challenging brackish water sources Systems requiring stringent permeate quality Technical Specifications: Active Area: 28 ft² (2.6 m²) Permeate Flow Rate: 1,000 GPD (3.8 m³/d) Stabilized Salt Rejection: 99.7% Membrane Type: Polyamide Thin-Film Composite Dimensions: 40" Length x 2.5" Diameter (nominal 2.5" I.D. vessel) Maximum Feed Flow: 6 GPM (1.4 m³/h) Maximum Pressure Drop: 15 psig (1.0 bar) Free Chlorine Tolerance: <0.1 ppm Maximum SDI: 5 Part Number: 12081023 (replaces standard BW30-2540) Backed by DuPont’s reputation for quality and innovation, the BW30 PRO-2540 helps you achieve sustainable water solutions with lower operating costs and consistent high-quality output.
