Buzz™ Hot Raspberry Butterfly Bush

If you want a fool-proof butterfly-attracting garden, Buzz™ Hot Raspberry Butterfly Bush (Buddleia davidii BUZZ 'Hot Raspberry') is the place to start. This new Buddleia is taking the garden world by storm. Be the first in your neighborhood to have this beauty. The list of wonderful qualities of this Butterfly Bush is long! For starters, it is more compact and less gangly than the species so it is the perfect fit for smaller gardens. It's not a true dwarf, so it still gives you a good vertical presence. The flowers are absolutely unforgettable! Long tapering spikes of bright hot, raspberry-pink florets bloom continuously from spring to fall. They are famously fragrant, to you and to pollinators. Incredible blooms that fire up your landscape with bold color and let you relax with their low-maintenance nature and fine texture! The big bottle brush blooms are brilliantly colored and the flying flowers appear to enjoy the nectar just might feel a twinge of jealousy! Hardy in USDA growing zones 5-10, these are drought and deer tolerant once established. Planting and Application: Whether you put them in your borders or in pots around your patio, make sure that you place them where you can enjoy their fragrance and the hordes of butterflies they are going to attract! Pollinator and cottage gardens, mixed-shrub borders and rock gardens are ideal locations for these compact perennial plants! This also makes it a perfect plant for larger containers and planters around your home both front and back yard! Plant around seating areas in planters to add height to your privacy when barbecuing and sunbathing. Or plant it as an airy hedge and backdrop for garden borders.
