To have ‘Elizabeth Ashley’ bloom blue, change the pH of the soil to being more acidic. One way to do this is using a more acidic fertilizer. To make ‘Elizabeth Ashley’ bloom pink, give this hydrangea lime. This will make the pH of the soil more alkaline and will transform the blooms to pink. ‘Elizabeth Ashley’ was bred by Kolster BV in Holland and introduced by Anthony Hoke.
