Buxus Green Mountain

Green Mountain Boxwood is a compact upright evergreen shrub with fine bright green leaves that may bronze in winter.  Small clusters of green-cram flowers bloom in spring.  Prefers part shade and well-drained soils, as it is prone to burning if planted in full sun.  Drought tolerant once established.  Green Mountain’s naturally cone-shaped habit makes it an excellent choice for topiary forms.  Type:  Shrub Height:  3’ - 5’  Spread:  2’ - 3’ Spacing:  2’ USDA Hardiness Zone:  5 - 9 Culture:  Full Sun, Part Sun Bloom Color:  Yellow Season of Interest:  Year-Round MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance.  Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots.
