NEW SIZE Button-30mm Iridescent Pāua Shell-Quantity 1

The natural and unique characteristics of handmade paua shell buttons, with their variation in color, pattern, and shape is not a defect but an inherent feature of a natural, handcrafted product. Pāua is a species of abalone, and its shell features an iridescent inner layer (nacre) with a spectrum of colors. These can include deep blues, greens, pinks, purples, and even gold or crimson hues. Each shell has its own distinct growth lines and color patterns, which remain unique to each finished button, like a fingerprint. The color and pattern can shift when viewed from different angles, showcasing the material's natural beauty. As the buttons are cut from a natural shell, some will be more curved or concave than others. This is a natural result of the shell's organic shape. The thickness of the button can also vary slightly from one piece to the next for the same reason. The irregular design and organic textures are intended to give each button a unique, handmade, and artisanal character.  The buttons are crafted from genuine Pāua shells, a natural material. The buyer should not expect the perfect shape or resilience of a manufactured button. The buttons are handcrafted with natural imperfections rather than machine-perfect consistency. The variations in color, pattern, and shape are what give each button its character and charm.  Shape/Style: Button Size: 1 1/4" (30-33mm) Thickness: 1-3mm Hole Size: 1-2mm Type: Paua Shell (Natural rainbow-like colors that change with the angle of light) Color: White Iridescent (No two are alike) Attachment Type: Sew Thru Quantity: 1 All Sizes Approximate
