Bush Bean Seeds - Roma II

Phaseolus vulgaris Roma II produces heavy yields of classic Italian-type green beans - flat, stringless pods with rich flavor and crisp, hearty texture. Upright, determinate plants will produce mostly in one big flush, making them ideal for canning, but the beans are also excellent sauteed fresh or blanched and then frozen. Direct sow these seeds in a location with full sun and well-drained soil after all danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed up.
