Post-Surgery Swaddle Bamboo Blend Cloud

Swaddelini® Post-Surgery Swaddle — The Comfort-First Alternative to Nono Sleeves Designed with Dr. Jessica Canallatos, pediatric surgeon and cleft-lip specialist, the Swaddelini® Post-Surgery Swaddle is a revolutionary, wearable baby blanket and medical recovery garment. It replaces the stiff, restrictive “nono sleeves” traditionally used for babies after cleft-lip surgery—giving families a gentler, safer, and development-supportive option. Why Parents & Doctors Love It Comfort + Healing Support: Made from soft, breathable, stretch-knit fabric that gently holds your baby’s arms in place—no straps, Velcro, or bulky braces. Protects Healing Sites: Prevents your little one from touching their face, surgical sutures, or medical devices while allowing free leg movement. Encourages Safe Sleep: Designed following AAP guidelines for infant safety—no loose blankets, no overheating, just secure comfort. Promotes Motor & Muscle Development: Flexible compression supports natural muscle tone and early motor skills even during recovery. Easy Diaper Changes: Clever bottom-opening design means parents can change diapers without disturbing healing arms or surgical areas. Doctor-Approved Design: Created alongside Dr. Canallatos, who uses Swaddelini swaddles in her own pediatric surgery recovery care. A Better Recovery for Cleft-Lip Babies Every year, 1 in 700 babies is born with a cleft lip or palate. After surgery, they must avoid touching their face to heal properly. Traditional nono sleeves are rigid and uncomfortable—babies often cry or struggle against them. That’s why Swaddelini® developed a post-surgery solution babies actually love. With its gentle compression and stretchy knit, it soothes and secures your baby while allowing comfort, movement, and emotional calm. Key Benefits at a Glance Replaces “nono sleeves” Protects surgical and healing sites Promotes safe sleep and comfort Supports muscle and motor skill development Simplifies diaper changes Endorsed by medical professionals She originally reached out to us about creating something special because she had been putting babies in the regular swaddelini for her surgical procedures. She asked if we could make one for babies post-surgery. Within weeks we were able to deliver a prototype and start making a better post-surgery solution for these adorable cleft lip babies.
