Burson V7 Opamps | Fully Discrete Audio Opamps (Pair)

Immerse Yourself in a Musically Dynamic Journey with Burson's Latest Op Amp Revision, the V7 Series Eight-layer PCB design for separation of signal path, grounding, and shielding More compact then previous designs with a shorter, optimized signal path New high-density aluminum shell for effective heat dissipation for improved high-temperature operation V7 Vivids provide dynamism, clarity, and accuracy V7 Classics maintain intimate vocals and sparkling highs with improved dynamics and accuracy in the lows Lifetime Warranty The 7th Revolution After two decades of relentless R&D, Burson Audio is thrilled to unveil their V7 Pro series, their 7th generation of opamps and a testament to Burson's commitment to excellence, safety, and user-friendliness. The V7 discrete opamps set a new benchmark in sound quality, earning the trust of leading industry partners like Union Audio and SAL, as well as recording engineers and DIY audio enthusiasts worldwide. They combine cutting-edge circuitry and craftsmanship, offering not just superior sound but also an impressive aesthetic. Their compact size (15mm x 13mm x 19mm) ensures versatility across various applications, from computer soundcards to car amplifiers. Unique features like reverse voltage protection make the V7 not only more durable but also safer than ever before. Whether you choose the V7 Vivid for its clarity and precision or the V7 Classic for its warm vocals and sparkling highs, you're guaranteed an unparalleled audio experience. The V7 also comes with a lifetime warranty, a commitment unmatched in the opamp industry. Layered to Perfection The V7 opamp is meticulously constructed using up to 8 layers in its PCB design. This approach strategically separates the signal path, grounding, and shielding into distinct layers. Although this method is more costly, it’s the ideal approach for designing analog amp circuits. As a result, the V7 is not only more compact and practical but also features a shorter, optimized signal path. Additionally, its enhanced design provides superior protection against airborne interference. The Max Current Heatsink The V7 is engineered to operate at high temperatures. To manage this, it is equipped with a new high-density aluminum shell. This shell effectively dissipates heat from each layer of the PCB into the air, while also safeguarding the sensitive components within. This functional and sleek design allows the V7 to work with a higher idling current, enhancing audio quality and improving stability. Vivid vs. Classic The V7 Vivid stands out for its dynamism, clarity, and accuracy. It is an ideal choice for recording engineers who prioritize absolute precision. Particularly recommended for the initial output stages of DACs (Digital-to-Analog Converters), the V7 Vivid excels where transparency is most valued. On the other hand, the V7 Classic can be likened to a perfect seasoning that enhances a meal. It features a completely redesigned output stage, addressing the limitations of its predecessor, the V6 Classic. The V7 Classic now matches the ultra-low noise level of the V7 Vivid, while maintaining the beloved intimate vocals and sparkling highs that fans of V6 Classic appreciate. Additionally, it offers improved dynamics and accuracy in the lower frequencies, striking an ideal balance between enjoyment and seriousness. Unsurpassed Quality Like their passion for audio, Burson's opamps are built to last a lifetime. Every Burson Opamp around the world, from the V1 to the V7, is covered by a lifetime warranty, an offering that no other opamp manufacturer dares to match. This, along with the reverse voltage protection, demonstrates Burson's commitment to quality and care for the investments of customers and manufacturing partners. Component selection and matching are not only critical for sound quality but also for safety. Burson uses only the finest components, which are painstakingly matched and tuned in a temperature-controlled environment that simulates real-world operations. Only after this rigorous process do they earn the Burson badge.
