Burley Thru Axle - Trailer Hitch Adapter

Thru Axle Adapter for Bikes with 12mm Thru Axles The Burley Thru Axle opens up trailer towing to riders whose bikes use a 12mm thru axle instead of a standard quick-release. Stock thru axles don't have the external threading needed to accept an axle-mounted hitch, so this adapter replaces your existing thru axle with one that does, letting you connect a Burley kid, cargo, or pet trailer without swapping your wheel or hub. Because thread pitch and hub spacing vary widely across bike brands and models, the Thru Axle is offered in seven axle specs covering different diameters, thread pitches, and lengths. Checking your bike's exact thru axle measurements before ordering, using Burley's Thru Axle Fit Guide or a local bike shop, will help make sure you get the correct fit. Ride-Ready Compatibility Replaces a stock 12mm thru axle with one machined to accept Burley's axle-mounted hitch system. Available in seven axle specs to match different thread pitches and hub lengths. Certain specs include a flat spacer or conical spacer for proper hitch clearance and alignment. Straightforward installation in place of your existing thru axle, no additional hardware modifications required. Compatible with Burley kid, cargo, and pet bike trailers that use the axle-mounted hitch.
