Bumblebee Reimagined

"Long before I was the olive guy, I was known as the flower guy. Insects seem to be universal spiritual creatures across cultures, so three decades ago I started painting daisies with insects that meant something personal to me. Now, many years later, I’ve decided to revisit them and reimagine them. Each one has a little something hidden, so make sure you look closely." Michael Godard, 2026 "We are just playing here. In life you need colors. And I know you’re saying, “Oh Bob, you’ve done it this time.” And you may be right. We don’t have anything but happy trees here. We artists are a different breed of people. We’re a happy bunch." - quotes inspired by the great Bob Ross G Edition on Canvas is 17.5 x 29 G Edition on Metal is 18 x 30 SN Edition on Canvas is 28 x 46 SN Edition on Metal is 24 x 40 AP Edition on Canvas is 28 x 46, 1-color embellishment AP Edition on Metal is 24 x 40, 1-color embellishment GP Edition on Canvas is 28 x 46, 5-color embellishment GP Edition on Metal is 24 x 40, 5-color embellishment M Edition on Canvas is 36 x 60 M Edition on Metal is 30 x 50, 5 color embellishment Complete the Series: Bumblebee, Butterfly, Dragonfly, Ladybug This colorful contemporary artwork is part of Michael Godard’s Flowers Reimagined series, released in 2026, featuring vivid floral imagery and symbolic insects set within richly detailed natural surroundings.
