BULLSEYE Snakehead Fish Pendant

The Bullseye Snakehead (Channa marulius), native to South Asia, has established populations in South Florida's freshwater canals and ponds. They are available year-round, but they are most active during the warmer months, particularly from late spring to early fall. These fish are best caught using live bait, such as small fish or frogs, or artificial lures that mimic prey, as they are ambush predators. Natural predators in their introduced habitats are limited, but larger birds and alligators occasionally prey on them. The fishery is considered sustainable in Florida, where their removal is encouraged to mitigate ecological impacts. Bullseye Snakeheads are highly valued for their firm, white, and flaky meat, which is mild and versatile, making it excellent for a variety of dishes. Snakehead Fish Pendant  is a part of the Freshwater Collection that encompasses all of our freshwater species. These custom pieces are offered with assorted shackle bale sizes to accommodate a variety of necklaces.
