Bulldog tool are handmade from high grade steel. Our farriers who do a lot of shoe making favor Bulldog tools over others. For those of you new to punching nail holes in steel this is how it goes. Get that nail hole started with a forepunch If the steel is 3/8" or thicker you will need a drift to drive deeper into that steel Follow up with a pritchel to get that new hole sheared off nice and clean Done. I knew you could do it. Steel handled tools that are hand forged and made from S-7 tool steel
