Bull River Bend Necklace

Inspired by the slow turns of the river where land and water soften into one another. Bull River Bend draws from the quiet curves of the Lowcountry — places where the river shifts direction, slows its pace, and leaves behind layers of color, stone, and time. This piece carries the look of worn banks and tidal edges, with earthy aqua terra jasper and white howlite turquoise arranged in an organic, balanced rhythm. The pointed stick beads echo weathered shells, river stones, and fragments shaped by steady movement rather than force. Antique brass accents bring warmth and age, grounding the palette and giving the piece a collected, natural feel rather than a polished one. Bull River Bend feels rooted and intentional — a statement without sharpness, bold without noise. It’s the kind of necklace that looks like it belongs exactly where it is.    How to Wear This necklace is made to sit comfortably at the collarbone and just above, where its shape and texture can stand on their own. Wear it with linen dresses, cotton tops, or simple necklines in soft whites, olive and mossy greens, faded blues, or warm rust tones. The palette mirrors natural riverbanks and worn coastal colors, making it easy to pair with pieces already rooted in a southern, coastal wardrobe. Let it be the focal point — this piece doesn’t need much else. Layering Note: Best worn solo or paired with longer, simpler strands for contrast rather than stacking at the same length.   Metaphysical Properties Aqua terra jasper is often associated with grounding, balance, and connection to the natural world — believed to support calm presence and steady energy. Howlite is traditionally linked to patience and ease, valued for its soothing, quiet influence. Together, these stones are thought to encourage stability, reflection, and a grounded connection to land and water.   Details Aqua terra jasper stick point beads, 25–30mm White howlite turquoise spike point beads, 20mm White howlite turquoise smooth rondelle beads, 8mm Gold-painted and white bone button beads, 14mm Antique brass lobster clasp and findings Length: 16.25 inches Weight: 1.4 oz Handmade on the Georgia coast
