Bulk Gadwall Flank

Bulk Gadwall flank delivers consistent, naturally barred fiber for precision fly dressing and trailing appendages. These late-season plucked feathers carry intact vane structure and predictable flexibility, making them a dependable stock for high-production rigging. The feather stock strips clean without damaging barbules or losing shank alignment. Each strand maintains structural integrity through repeated casts, holding its intended position beneath the water film. You layer individual lengths directly onto your thread wraps to build segmented bodies, drifting tails, and compact wing cases that replicate submerged prey profiles. Uniform late-season gadwall tail feathers optimized for mechanical strength Detailed application for wing case fly dressing and soft hackle patterns Prepared fiber reduces preparation time before threading begins Contained in a six by six inch moisture-resistant zip lock pouch Overlay two to three fibers across your knotting point to generate immediate undulation and light diffusion. The natural earth-tone gradient cuts through both clear pools and stained runoff without appearing synthetic or overly saturated. Add these verified gadwall fly tying materials to your inventory and streamline your next tying session.
