Bulk Barrel Swivels (1000 Pack): Durable, Corrosion-Resistant

The main purpose of a barrel swivel is to allow the line to untwist during retrieval and prevent tangling. Barrel swivels are the most common type of swivel because of the size variations available and the affordable price. Suitable for freshwater, saltwater, bass, and offshore fishing. A very useful connector, it allows you to easily tie two separate sections of line to each end.  They’re often used when fishing in very deep water since the line will twist frequently when reeling it in. Twisting decreases the strength of the line and you definitely want to prevent unnecessary breakages as much as possible. Smooth, barrel rotation with less drag.
