Hampton Bulgarian Bag

The HeroStrength® Bulgarian Bag is simply a remarkable all-around versatile fitness tool for all functional training zones of the New Era. Originally designed for the “wrestling community” – this apparatus works as a functional approach to introduce a massive range of Dynamism into core training sessions. The all-inclusive variety of Dynamic Movements include: pushing, twisting, swinging, pulling, bending, rotating, squatting, lunging and throwing. It can also be added to one’s body weight to perform jumps, squats, pull-ups, push-ups, and power crunches. Perfect for High-Intensity Interval Training workouts with fast-paced metabolic results. The HeroStrength® Bulgarian Bag will boost your heart rate offering a full-body workout in a short space of time. Effectively burns fat while developing muscle; this versatile and powerful functional training product will strengthen and increase muscular endurance of the grip, wrists, arms, shoulders, back, legs, and rotational muscles. It is a necessity for any gym, PT, and group training sessions! Constructed of high quality synthetic stitched leather, the exterior of the bag consists of three types of handles and straps to allow athletes to execute versatile types of exercises by using different grips. The Main Handles are the two hold points which taper out toward the end of the bag – they are used for swinging and spinning motions. The Exterior Handles are the three tube-like protrusions that sit on the outer top of the bag; the center handle is set between the two outer handles. The Exterior Handles are primarily used for grip strength and upper body exercises. The third elements are the “straps” and they are the two looped nylon straps sewn directly to the bag’s exterior. The straps are approximately 12″ inches long and used to stabilize the bag on the shoulders during lower body workouts, and as grasping handles for arm exercises. The Variable Angular Resistance of this bag breaks the tradition from the static resistance devices (such as free weights). Rather than creating resistance by pushing weight away from and toward the body (static resistance), the HeroStrength® Bulgarian Bag uses accelerating and decelerating movements to swing and spin the bag at various angles to the athlete’s body. Results include overall body strength and agility using the elements of gravity, momentum, and inertia in physical exercise training. There is also an AEROBIC effect due to the high intensity bouts of exertion which increase metabolic rates higher than traditional weight training and cardiovascular activity with exercises that include both weight training and fast dynamic movement. The HeroStrength® Bulgarian Bag allows users to learn fundamental movements, how to apply movements to workouts, and how to introduce the “spin” technique safely. Safety Considerations: Exercises, like any other plyometric shock-training exercises, involve an increased risk of injury due to the large forces that are generated during acceleration, and should only be performed by well-conditioned individuals or under supervision. For more information on risks involved in plyometric training, see safety considerations in plyometrics. Because the handles of the Bulgarian Bag are flexible and not rigidly fixed to the body of the equipment, it is harder for an athlete to transfer the weight of the equipment to his or her forearm and arm muscles than with traditional iron weights, and more load is carried by athlete’s wrists. The use of wrist wraps may therefore be advisable for people with weaker wrists to provide additional support. Warranty: 1 year
