Building Selma Heritage Journal

Recording the Stories That Shape Our Future The Building Selma Heritage Journal honors the legacy of the Selma to Montgomery Voting Rights March of 1965 and the historic role of Campsite One in Selma, Alabama. During the march for voting rights, Selma became a place of courage, sacrifice, and determination as thousands gathered to demand equal access to the ballot. The fields of Campsite One served as an important place of rest and community for leaders and participants along the journey toward justice. This heritage journal was created as part of the Building Selma Collection, designed to preserve the memory of this historic movement while encouraging reflection, learning, and storytelling for future generations. Whether used for journaling, research, note-taking, or personal reflection, the Building Selma Heritage Journal connects everyday writing with a powerful moment in American history. Every purchase supports the preservation of Campsite One and the Hall Heritage Center. Write the future while honoring the past. • Paper weight: 90 g/m² • Weight: 10.6 oz.
