Can my dachshund wear the harness with the sweater? Yes. Every sweater and coat in this bundle has an opening on the back so you can clip the leash to the harness or collar underneath. The quilted sweaters can also be layered over or under a harness. Will this harness hurt my dachshund's back? No, it's built the opposite way on purpose. Dachshunds have a long spine and short legs, so pressure needs to sit across the chest, not the neck. Every Woof + Ween harness distributes pressure that way.
