Keep candle free of any foreign materials, including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time. For the first use, burn candle one hour, for every inch in width, melting the wax as close to the edge of the container as possible.
