Buffer++

The Empress Buffer++ is built for musicians who want total control over their signal path and the freedom to experiment. Whether you’re toggling between inputs, switching amps, summing loops, or doing something no pedalboard was ever meant to do, the Buffer++ has your back. It builds on our legacy of transparent, low-noise buffers while pushing far beyond simple tone preservation. Unlike rigid switchers or static ABY boxes, you can switch between guitar and synth, convert stereo rigs to mono, or dial in warm, vintage tones, all without touching a single cable. With 12 powerful routing modes, input metering, ground loop rejection, and variable input loading for tone shaping, the Buffer++ makes complex setups simple. This pedal isn’t just about cleaning up your signal. It’s about unlocking the rig you’ve always wanted to build but didn’t know how. Stop compromising. Start building. Features     Protects your tone against signal loss over long cable runs     12 internal routing modes to accommodate any setup     Input pads for balancing volumes     Footswitchable boost with up to 30dB of gain     Tuner output (hold footswitch for tuner mute)     Variable input loading for tone shaping     Stereo effects loop with noise filtering     AB/AY switching options Preserve Your Tone Long cable runs and vintage pedals are a recipe for tone loss and unwanted noise. The Buffer++ tackles these problems head-on with an all-analog signal path featuring Dolby-style filtering, transformer isolation, and differential loop returns. Whether you’re running stereo effects or stacking gain-heavy pedals, your signal stays clean, punchy, and free of hiss. Of course, sometimes a little high-end rolloff can sound just right. That's why we've added an input loading knob, to simulate adding just the right amount of cable-induced warmth, without introducing the noise or mess of actual long cables. Flexible Signal Routing for Any Setup Guitar one song, synth the next? Stereo at rehearsal, mono on stage? The Buffer++ gives you the freedom to plug in multiple instruments and reconfigure your signal path without tearing apart your board. With twelve internal routing modes, input metering, instrument pads, polarity switching, and dual outputs, it’s a powerful problem solver for anyone juggling multiple instruments, amps, or FX chains. Less Clutter, More Control Why give up space for a massive switcher when you just need smart routing? The Buffer++ combines stereo loop switching, AB/AY amp and instrument switching, tuner mute, and onboard boost into a single compact utility pedal. It replaces multiple boxes and cables with one intelligent hub—and your board stays clean, efficient, and ready for anything.
