Buddhist Temple Bell

In Buddhist tradition,  the bell symbolizes the voice of emptiness and wisdom.  These bells are meant to clear the mind of excess clutter. Their high pitch and rich overtones create a sound that cannot be escaped from or avoided. The tone enters your consciousness, dissolving mental chatter and anchoring awareness in the present moment. As the sound moves through different layers of awareness, it mirrors the Buddhist principle of penetrating illusion to reveal the luminous nature of mind itself. Practitioners use the vajra bell to mark transitions in meditation, to call forth compassion, and to align intention with the sacred geometry of the cosmos. Specs Medium 3.5" x 6.5" Large 4.5" x 8.5"
