The juxtaposition of old versus new is ever-present with the Budapest Boards. Made from the end pieces of reclaimed beams, these decorative boards create zero waste and continue our efforts of full-circle sustainability. Budapest was created in the late 17th century when neighboring cities, Buda and Pest, merged to form a new city. The two sides are connected via bridges as a river runs between them - this inspired the design of the Budapest Boards, which feature cracks that are connected by oversized staples. Due to the nature of the found beams, no board will be perfectly identical and will contain varying crevices and splits within the wood, embracing its organic beauty even further. Handcrafted from reclaimed oakwood by artisans in Europe Intended for decorative use only Wipe surface clean with hot soapy water and hand dry
