BUCKEYE™Nutrition Low N' Steady-40lbs

LOW ‘N STEADY is a low-calorie, pelleted ration balancer for adult horses. This supplement is formulated for metabolic or obese horses or ponies on a forage-based diet. At just 8.5 % starch and sugar (NSC), LOW ‘N STEADY provides essential nutrients at lower feeding rates with 5x more vitamins and minerals than most feeds. The low NSC supports stable glucose and insulin levels, and the reduced calories with appropriate protein (24%) supports ideal body condition and healthy topline. LOW ‘N STEADY Supports optimal metabolic health, reducing the effects of oxidative stress to stabilize energy levels. With a low feeding rate of just 1.25 lb/day (for an idle, 1,000-lb horse), LOW ‘N STEADY helps stabilize calorie intake and blood glucose and insulin levels to maintain optimal weight and keep laminitis at bay.
